CIS :: Company History
CIS Internet™ was launched in the spring of 1998 with offices in Scott Depot, West Virginia. At that time, there were only a few Internet Service companies providing "Filtered" or "Family Friendly" Internet Access, and none were readily available in West Virginia. The focus of the company was to provide a "Christian Internet Service" to the Charleston metro area.
As CIS continued to grow, we expanded our offerings to serve virtually any IT need our clients demanded. Today, our greatest focus is web development and internet marketing - with the goal of helping businesses use the internet to get more impact for their advertising dollar. In the ever-changing world of internet technology, CIS has stood through the years by rising to meet the new challenges and opportunities of our field. We look forward to continuing that process from now into the future.
Currently, CIS primarily serves three metro areas and their surrounding regions: Charleston, West Virginia; Raleigh, North Carolina and St. Louis, Missouri.
